Who We Are
Advance Educational Consulting (AEC) is led by Craig L. Simmons, an experienced educator and administrator who has served students and families in both public and private school settings. With nine years of public elementary teaching experience, Craig built his career around the individual academic development of early learners. His instructional expertise focuses on helping children learn to read, and then to read to learn, guiding students as they build the literacy skills that shape long‑term academic success.
Craig has also served as a Dean of Students and Principal in a private school, giving him a comprehensive understanding of school operations, family engagement, and the academic and behavioral supports students need to thrive. This dual‑environment experience allows AEC to support families with insight into multiple educational pathways, including traditional schooling, private education, and homeschooling.
At AEC, our staff is dedicated to partnering with parents to create personalized academic plans that reflect each child’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals. Through tutoring, IEP consultation, homeschool guidance, and targeted academic bootcamps in STEM, ELA, and other core subjects, we provide structured, high‑quality support that empowers students to grow with confidence.
